THE EXHIBITION

Born in 1992 from an idea of accordo.it, the reference magazine for those who play and love music for over thirty years, SHG MUSIC SHOW is the longest running exhibition market – event in Italy dedicated to modern musical instruments with a focus on guitar, bass, amplifiers and effects.

The exhibition occupies a total area of over 10 thousand square meters. There are large common spaces and exclusive rooms, where excellent artisans, shops, collectors, luthiers and publishers exhibit alongside large distributors and producers.

THE MUSIC

Two non-stop days of events, workshops and demos take place for the entire duration of the event: new talents and great masters perform on the live stage and in the exhibitors’ private rooms.

VINTAGE VAULT

A large area dedicated to the display of vintage guitar collectors: rarities and unobtainable collector’s pieces.

SECOND HAND MARKET

Buy, sell and trade! A large space dedicated to buying and selling between private individuals. Open to all visitors, without formalities and without sales commissions. Second Hand Market is the place for great occasions, where people buy and sell face to face like in the American guitar shows from which the event drew inspiration thirty years ago.

A SPACE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

SHG Music Show is also full of initiatives dedicated to younger people. Training and teaching are at the center of the event thanks to the large presence of music schools every year.

A NEW LOCATION

The 2024 edition will take place at the NH Milano Assago Congress Center, one of the most active spaces for trade fairs and conferences in Milan, in front of the Mediolanum Forum, a venue for international sporting events and concerts.

The location is in a strategic position: a three-minute walk from the Assago Forum metro stop, at the A7 motorway exit, 10 minutes from the Navigli area of Milan.

Equipped with over 20 rooms and large equipped areas, it is the ideal solution to guarantee accessibility and services for all needs.

There are various free car parks and two private parking areas nearby. Connected to the location is a four-star hotel, which has an agreement with the event to host exhibitors and visitors to the fair.
